Each room is equipped with air conditioning -  the temperature is set at 22°C (70°F). We ask you not to change the settings. 

To protect the environment air condition is not available during the winter. 

If you arrive by bicycle, we would like to inform you that we do not have a bicycle storage room.

You will find the nearest ATM on the main square at the Steiermärkische Bank & Sparkassen AG. For opening hours and further bank institutes please contact the reception.

The Ernst Fuchs Bar, with its rich tradition, is the perfect place to enjoy a tasty drink in a pleasant atmosphere. It is dedicated to the Austrian painter, architect and visionary Ernst Fuchs. With its furnishings and the unique atmosphere, the bar has been a popular meeting point in Graz for the last 30 years. 

We recommend making a reservation ahead of your visit.

Monday to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday and Holiday closed.

We offer our breakfast buffet in the winter garden on the ground floor. Breakfast can also be served to your room for a service charge of € 5,-. Orders are taken at reception. 

Breakfast hours:

Monday to Saturday from 06.30 to 10.00 a.m.
Sunday and public holiday from 07.00 to 11.00 a.m.

Did you book your room without breakfast but suddenly change your mind? That’s no problem. You can add breakfast to your booking on-site at the reception desk for an extra fee of € 23,- per person.

3-6 years: € 8,-
7-14 years: € 15,-
from 15 years: € 23,- 

Reserved rooms are available from 3.00 p.m. and are at your disposition until 11.00 a.m. Early check in or late check out are only possible on request and with an additional fee.

You are welcome to bring your dog with you. Please inform us in advance. We charge € 15 per night for your four-legged friend due to the increased cleaning effort. Please be aware that dogs need to be kept on the lead and are not allowed in the sauna and breakfast area.

Please place the sign outside your room in case you do not want to be disturbed. 

In some of our rooms you will need to plug in your key card next to the entrance to activate the electricity. Some Adapters and chargers are available at the reception. We kindly ask for your understanding that a deposit of € 25,- will be charged to your room.

We highly recommend you make yourself familiar with the emergency plan. Our hotel is equipped with smoke detectors and sirens. In case of fire keep calm and leave the building following the signs. Please note that the elevator will be out of service. In case of an evacuation the nearest meeting point is on the main square. If you notice fire, report it immediately to our staff (extension 100) or use the nearest fire alarm. Fire extinguishers are located in all hallways.

We are happy to provide a baby cot or extra bed on request and subject to availability. 

A baby cot can be accommodated in the following room categories: Double Room Comfort, Superior, Premium Room and Suite.
An extra bed (or a sofa bed is available) in the following room categories: Superior and Suite.

Prices:

Baby cot (0-2 years): € 15,- per night
Extrabed (or sofa bed, from 3 years): € 20,- per night

Our sporty guests will find a fitness room on the 4th floor which is open 24 hours. Please also feel free to ask at the front desk for a jogging path in the city.

For the sake of the environment and to promote sustainability, we clean your room only upon request. How it works: Please hang your cleaning sign on the outside of your room door by 11:00 a.m. on the desired day.

A laundry service is available. The price list and laundry bags can be found inside your closet. Please leave your laundry at the reception until 11.00 a.m. for returns within the next working day. Irons and boards are also available on request.

We provide information and city maps at the front desk. Further information on guided tours, souvenirs and tickets can be obtained at the office of Graz Tourism just a few minutes from the hotel (Herrengasse 16). The information office can also be reached at +43 316 80 75 0.

Our rooms are equipped with mini fridges. A selection of drinks and snacks is available at the reception at any time.

You will find parking places in the neighbouring “Kastner & Öhler” underground parking without any reservation. Tickets for a special rate (€ 22,-/ 24h) are available at the reception. Please notice that fee-based parking in front of the hotel is only possible on reservation.

We do accept American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Master Card, Maestro, Visa or cash as payment. To avoid waiting times at check-out we ask you to inform us about your billing instructions or billing address beforehand.

The nearest pharmacy is located across the street. For further information on opening hours or if you need to contact a doctor, please call the reception at extension 100.

The reception can order a taxi for you. Inner-city connections are to be found on the main square. You can reach the central station by tram or taxi within 10 minutes. For further information on schedules and tickets please contact the reception.

All rooms are equipped with a safe. The hotel is not liable for unlocked valuables. In case of technical difficulties please contact the reception.

On the 4th floor, in addition to the fitness room, you will also find a Finnish sauna and a room for relaxation. We will switch on the sauna on your request between 04:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. 

For more detailed information, please contact reception. You will find bathrobes, towels and slippers in the sauna area.

Smoking is also prohibited in the outdoor sauna area.

We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is only allowed in front of the hotel entrance. In case of an alarm, any occurring costs will be charged to the person causing the alarm.

For outgoing calls please dial “0”, followed by the number you wish to call. To reach another hotel room please dial the desired room number. You can be contacted in your room at: +43 316 81 16 16 + your 3-digit room number as extension. For the reception please dial 100.

Please let us know if you need additional pillows, towels, bath robes or slippers. A selection of toiletries can be found in your bathroom. Dental sets or shaving sets can be requested at the reception.

Umbrellas are available at the reception. We kindly ask for your understanding that a deposit of € 25,- will be charged to your room.

We offer a wireless connection in the entire hotel. The password can be found inside the cover of your key card.
