Rooms & suites
Individual accommodations
As unique as the individual rooms appear, they nevertheless share one thing in common: COMFORT. Along with the classic single and double rooms, the Imperial Rooms, in particular, are enjoying growig popularity and emphasize the traditional character of the hotel.
Both suites are very much dedicated to Archduke Johann, and offer guests plenty of room and a generous helping of luxury.
Each room has its own unique character, is arranged differently, and varies in terms of wallpaper, desks and beds.
The theme rooms
The so-called "theme rooms" in our hotel promise a special experience. As we were searching for ways to make staying at our hotel even more memorable, the idea of creating separate theme rooms was born in 2003.
Moroccan room
The "Moroccan room" was designed for fans of the oriental lifestyle, and original pieces of Moroccan furniture with mother-of-pearl inlays provide an authentic atmosphere.
Emperor Maximilian room
If you've ever wanted to stay in a room fit for royalty, you will find the opportunity to do so in our "Emperor Maximilian room". The bed in this luxurious room is an original in the truest sense of the word. It was made for Emperor Maximilian himself in Mexico, with the brass imported from England. On his journey to Triest, he made a stop in Graz and spent the night on this custom-made bed. "The bed was extensively restored and lengthened, because Maximilian was relatively short!"
Wanda Sacher Masoch suite
The "Wanda Sacher Masoch suite" was designed for guests who love the unusual.
